These are my Summer dress picks if you’re packing for some travelling in the sun. Europe has finally defrosted and the sun has come out. During those glorious summer months, light dresses, tops and skirts will be your lifesavers when you start to feel sticky and hot. A comfortable and equally as beautiful summer dress will be perfect for your travel diaries. Summer is all about a wrap or shift dress in gorgeous materials, such as silk and linen. These summer dresses are ideal for a long “pranzo” and generally swanning around beaches, countryside, and old towns. We all love a holiday shop before we take off and visit another country.
Started my love affair with Realisation Par last year once I discovered their incredible dresses online. Alexandra Spencer and Teale Talbot have harnessed the power of influencer marketing to create these investment dresses that are great for casual and formal situations. I loved Spencer’s 4th and Bleeker blog and I trust her work and trend forecasting abilities. That’s why I did not need any further convincing to buy Réalisation par dresses after seeing how beautiful they looked on other babes of Instagram.
Loved this silhouette and style so much that I could not decide which colour/pattern to get so I got both the rust spot and the daisy. I am literally 152 cm tall and this makes me feel like I’m 4 inches taller with super long legs. This dress is made with 100% silk, so I feel like it’s a better use of my money than spending loads for viscose. This dress fits me so well and it just… gets me. Do you have a dress that makes you feel like an absolute dream?
The wrap dress is one which is a little more forgiving if you decide to eat a little bit too much for lunch. Proof below:
Obsessed with the green fabric and those bell sleeves! This is 70s inspired with a flattering empire waist. Wore this last summer and wearing it again this summer. Truly love seeing how successful Réalisation Par has become in such a short amount of time. I know the brand has sparked a lot of controversy and negative reviews, but I genuinely like the brand and the way I feel wearing these dresses. This dress is made with 100% silk crepe.
I really like this dress because it is super affordable and so pretty. Wrap dresses have made quite the comeback in the last 2-3 years and they are here to stay (or at least I hope they are). This H&M dress is far cheaper than other brands and easy to wear.
Watermelon pink with red stars makes this ruffle shift so flirty and cute. I love the spaghetti straps and the flirty off-shoulder straps that frame the upper part of the dress. When I first saw the campaign last year I felt like I needed this. I’m a sucker for ruffles and off-shoulder-ANYTHING.
This is one of my favourite dresses. It can be made to look like a half sleeve dress or otherwise an off-shoulder dress with the adjustable tie-up sleeves and button fastening. The dress has the ability to make you feel like you’re on a holiday in a Mediterranean country and you’re bilingual (If only!)
