The Acne Studios Popup sale is your first chance in five years to get up to 75% off the Swedish fashion house. Acne studios have not hosted a pop up sale in Sydney since 2015, so get in sometime this week to snatch up some great pieces.
They’re well known globally for their luxe-yet-minimalist concept which first began with denim and now a huge global company with ready-to-wear fashion, footwear, and accessories.

I had my eye on the clea bomber jacket pictured above since September 2017, but didn’t have the financial situation to purchase it then. I took a photo of the shop window display because I thought it was such a beautiful piece. This is a classic bomber jacket featuring a ribbed neckline, cuffs, and hem.
I have loved this brand since 2012 when my first in-store experience was on a visit to New York at the Greene St store whereby I purchased the skin Rocca jeans with the exposed zip on the back.
I waited in line for over one hour with my friend, Gerald to see what they had available. We spoke to some of the Acne staff who stated that they had plenty of stock and they were refreshing/restocking the venue every day in the early morning with more clothes and accessories. However, you may find that if you go after 5pm / office hours that there may be a huge line and not everyone will have the opportunity to get in before they close their doors.
Here are some sneak peaks of the sale around 7:30pm…
Moreover, you can see in the photos there is a bit of a mess everywhere, but we deal with it in the name of affordable fashion. It’s not everyday Acne can be available to the masses with a huge percentage off the retail price. I’m sure everything has a certain order and different sections, such as shoes, bags and small leather goods, jeans, basics etc. Unfortunately, a lot of the stock is tossed around everywhere by customers searching for their pieces so it’s a bit hard to look through everything.
They have everything from intimates, old season, new arrivals, Blå Konst, to limited edition colourways and fun accessories. I would say you need a good 40 minutes to 1 hour to sift through the clothes and the crowd. I didn’t bother with the denim sale table because of the mess and amount of people.
However, I picked up the Clea bomber that I had my eyes on for a while now. I’m super happy with the fit and pink colour and detailing. I didn’t pick up anything else that caught my fancy. I was looking for a leather jacket, but didn’t find the right style and fit for me. An investment leather jacket is probably a feat that is best left for normal retail prices. If you’re after some high quality pieces then this is the sale for you.
