Hey guys! I am so excited to start sharing my low-tox journey with Young Living essential oils (YLEO).
Essential oils are highly aromatic oils derived from plants. They can be pulled from any botanical matter and are typically extracted from flower petals, citrus peels, grasses, tree barks, and resins. The oils are extracted through a variety of methods, including cold pressing, resin tapping and steam distillation.
✨Aromatically
Essential oils are best known for their aromas, which can help create an environment to suit your specific needs. In addition to adding them to cleaning products and beauty staples, you can infuse the air directly with your favorite fragrance by using one of our many diffusers. These handy aroma atomisers and roller bottles can be placed anywhere you crave a fresh scent.
✨Topically
Many essential oils have skin-enhancing and hormonal balancing benefits and can be applied directly to the skin or added to your existing beauty products. You can also combine them with a carrier oil or your daily moisturiser for easy application. I like to use fractionated coconut oil and jojoba oil.
✨Internally
Did you know that many essential oils can be taken internally? Young Living oils can add a splash of flavor to food and drinks or to take oils in capsules as a dietary supplement. Check out our recipes for homemade blueberry-lavender ice cream and overnight chia breakfast bowls to start getting essential in the kitchen. I like adding peppermint and citrus oils to my water to make it more interesting and encouraging me to drink more throughout the day.
I wanted to learn more about chemicals and then ditch and switch to more natural living.
I’m sensitive to cleaning products, laundry cleaner, perfume and cosmetics. I want to know more about what I’m putting on and into my body and reduce my exposure to carcinogenic material and chemicals that’s disrupt my endocrine system.
I purchased a Young Living Starter kit with the Rainstone diffuser. I love the purple clay stone and minimal black design. The 11 oils allowed to play around and explore all the uses without the pressure to know exactly what I need and what to do.
I have an amazing team that I’m plugged into that helps me every step of the way with questions and recipes.
These are the options:
If you’ve been wanting to try oils to start kicking out those harmful toxins, the kit is the perfect way to get started!

Let me tell you how I use these little oily bottles:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▫️Lemon: add to my water for a gentle detox every day. I make a roller bottle with peppermint and lavender for seasonal support, add it to my cleaner for an extra kick and to my laundry for whites. Added to a perfume bottle with the Joy blend for an amazing floral scent that gets me through a tough day.
▫️Lavender: Queen lav is in my skin serum and I pair it with stress away in the diffuser before bed. Love lavender in the shower for emotional support. This is a great one for settling littles and winding down.
▫️ Stress Away: This is one of my favourite smells with vanilla, lime, ocotea, lavender and Cedarwood. It’s calming, soothing and comforting. I wear this with lemon as a perfume replacement and I love diffusing this in the afternoon.
▫️Peppermint: I use this after meals with a drop in my tea to support digestive processes, or a drop in my water bottle post workout to make me feel refreshed. This is an important oil in my seasonal support and head tension roller.
▫️Thieves: I like to apply topically to my skin to boost my immune and of course I use it as a cleaner by adding water to a spray bottle with the thieves household concentrate. I diffuse this with R.C for a cosy and uplifting aroma to help stuffiness and seasonal stress.
▫️R.C: This is such a fresh aroma that I when I need to clear my mind. I like to apply it onto my chest for respiratory support and it pairs well with thieves for stuffiness.
▫️Purification: adore this uplifting scent which I apply to water in a spray bottle for an odour elimination, and to diffuse with citrus fresh after cooking. For beauty purposes I apply to closed and open pimples.
▫️Frankincense: a major skin saviour – seriously, the entire starter kit is worth it for this oil alone, I diffuse with lavender before bed, it’s in my skin serum roller and my daily immune roller
▫️Copaiba: an important anti-inflammatory in my skin serum, add a drop to my tea for a hormone and wellness boost. This little guy enhances any other oil you mix it with, so great for the nervous system and to settle muscle tension post workout with Panaway.
▫️PanAway: Perfect Vicks replacement, I apply on my neck and back for sore muscles and all over my body and sore spots really! Great on the chest when you’re under the weather.
▫️DiGize: roll onto my belly after large meals or naughty foods to calm inflammation and aid digestion. This is a staple for travelling and can be used during that time of the month. Love the strong herbaceous and aromatic scent.
Why shouldn’t you buy just any essential oil?
This is because some essential oils are laced with synthetic fragrances that are not natural meaning you won’t reap the benefits of true essential oils. Synthetic oils in fact can do more damage to your body because they can store in the body as toxins, unable to be released. I’ve even seen dangerous ones even found in organic food shops!
Over the 25 years of Young Living working as a business, they have developed the largest library of Essential Oil samples for testing worldwide.
I trust these oils because they have a seed to seal promise. This ensures that every single process from picking the seeds to prepping the soil to harvest to distillation is done to the same high and consistent standards. So many people have said how quick and effective these oils have been for them through personal testimonies. Feel free to ask me more info regarding this.
